Jun   15:  Gordon Gompers Article -  Up to 3,000 words ; Winner £60: Runner Up £25;

July  15: 250 Flash Fiction - Winner £30; Runner Up £10 ; 3 Commended

Aug  15: Short Story For Children - Up to 1500 Words - Winner £40; Runner Up £25;

Sept 15:Vee Bradley Humorous Poetry  40 lines maximum - Winner £30; RU £15    

Oct.  15: 100 Word Flash Fiction - Winner £40; Runner Up £20

Nov. 15: Chairman's 1000 Word Challenge - 1000 words - Winner £80; Runner Up £25

 

March Guideline:

Herbert Spence Poetry Competition

Up to 50 lines - from a perfectly formed four liner, 

to a sonnet and on to a multi verser.


April Guideline:

Random Writing from between 2,000 and 3000 words

A single judge will deliberate and provide a 200 word Critique; 

the membership will also judge in the usual way, 

but prizes will be awarded according to the single judge's placing.
