May Guideline:
Lewis Wright Short Story - up to 3,000 words.

Classic tight writing with an opening/introduction, a main body with characterisation and dialogue carefully crafted, then an ending which echoes the beginning, or demonstrates the title or has a surprise or twist - or all of these.

June Guideline:

Gordon Gompers Article Competition
Originally a 'travel' article or memoir, up to 3,000 words. Last year this extended to being any topic article. With the restrictions upon us we will take that line again. But if members would like to submit material specific to travel this would be in keeping with the original concept.
